Project Overview
Cat6 and Cat6A data drops installed for a new office space: cable runs, terminations, patch panel and rack, with every drop labeled, tested and documented.
Challenge and Solution
Cabling is hard to fix once the ceilings close and the desks move in. We plan drop locations up front, run and terminate cleanly, then test and label every cable so the client has documentation for future moves and troubleshooting.
- Plan drop locations with the client before install
- Run, terminate and dress cable to the rack
- Test and label every drop
- Hand over test results and as-built documentation
Frequently Asked Questions
